Announcing: Summer 2026 Camps!
7 exciting sessions to choose from 🧶🎨⛺️🌼🍄🌿🍓✂️✏️
This Thanksgiving, we are so grateful for an amazing second year of Creative Camps. And after hearing that many parents are already thinking about next year, we wanted to release our dates as soon as we could. Summer 2026 Creative Camps are below - full of fresh ideas and themes.
Every camp is led by professional teaching artists Megan Upchurch and/or Alder Keene; bolstered by high-quality materials; and includes time outdoors so kids can stretch, explore, and genuinely grow. We weave interdisciplinary connections into everything we do—art meets history, ecology, anthropology, movement, and more—because creativity thrives when kids see the world from multiple angles.
Next summer’s lineup has something for every young artist: Intro to Fiber Arts & Sewing (June 15–19), a full “Fashion Week” with Intermediate Sewing and Jewelry & Wearable Art (June 22–26), 3D & Recycled Art (July 6–10), two imaginative July sessions—Mini Worlds: Detailed Diorama Design and Puppet Studio (July 13–17)—and an August finale with 3D Art & Sculpture (August 3–7). More details to come, but we are already so excited for what’s in store!
Fast facts:
Registration opens in January.
We’ll share more info before then: full camp descriptions, pricing, and exact opening date.
Age restrictions: Students must be at least rising third graders to attend full-day camp. Rising kindergartners must have completed a year of TK.
Minimum number: Camps must have at least five students to run.
Location: Our studio is moving!
We’re thrilled to share that camps of up to 10 students will take place in our soon-to-be new studio home—a welcoming “modern cabin” that functions as a completely independent creative space. Although attached to a residence, the studio is fully separated from the main living area and has its own private entrances, restroom, full kitchen, and deck. The property sits on a wooded acre lot just six minutes southwest of Pullen Park and Dix Park. We will be transforming it this spring into a creative headquarters, but here is a sneak peek:
If/when a camp exceeds 10 sign-ups, we will again rent a classroom at Edenton Street United Methodist Church in downtown Raleigh.
Without further ado, our Summer 2026 calendar:

Sincerely,
Megan & Alder
