After months of dreaming, hauling, hanging, and painting… the new Creative Camps Studio is officially open!
A tiny, rented, former garage in downtown Raleigh served us well for our first two years in business, but now we have a larger and more permanent spot to call our own.
What was an empty backyard apartment is now a colorful classroom inspired by classic summer camps and the woods just beyond the deck.
This space is:

Adult Night 3/25 - Floral Resin Workshop
Spring is coming — and Creative Camps is celebrating our new woodsy studio with a special collaboration with nature artist Chelsea of Chezley Designs.
In this hands-on class, you’ll create your own pair of floral earrings and/or a pendant — a wearable “forever flower” preserved in crystal-clear resin.
Along the way, you’ll learn the foundations of epoxy art: the right materials, mixing and pouring techniques, working with dried botanicals, and finishing your piece professionally. These core skills translate to future projects like coasters, trays, night lights, and more.
Skip the hours of research and trial-and-error and benefit from Chelsea’s expertise. You’ll leave with a beautiful handmade piece — and the knowledge and confidence to keep creating long after the workshop ends.
After-school art class: “Signs of Spring”
K-3rd graders are invited to join us this April for mixed-media, nature-inspired art projects celebrating the arrival of spring.
I can’t wait to fill these tables with paint, projects, laughter, and a whole lot of creative community. And am incredibly thankful to all who have supported this vision in so many ways, whether through weighing in on the mural design; requesting and suggesting classes; chatting with me through ideas for integrating faith into some offerings; or just liking and sharing posts.
